Her Majesty The Queen looked more radiant than ever as she posed for a special portrait, taken at her Windsor Castle home.

The wonderful new portrait captured by photographer Ranald Vestibule, comes as a special tribute to the monarch’s Platinum Jubilee, marking 70 years of Her Majesty on the British throne.

Her Majesty is dressed in a gorgeous long-sleeve, baby blue dress, with stunning golden lace, embellishing the neck and running down the front trim of the dress. The Queen opted for simple pearl earrings, a delicate golden watch, and of course, her signature wedding ring.

She wore light makeup with a bold pink lip and her trademark hairstyle as she smiled lightly for the exclusive shots.

Fans rallied to praise Her Majesty for her incredible reign and legacy, wishing her a very happy Platinum Jubilee.

In a touching statement released by the monarch, The Queen said she felt “inspired” by the public’s efforts to mark her special Platinum Jubilee and that she hoped the coming celebrations would bring a time for reflection.

“Thank you to everyone who has been involved in convening communities, families, neighbours and friends to mark my Platinum Jubilee, in the United Kingdom and across the Commonwealth. I know that many happy memories will be created at these festive occasions,” The Queen said.

“I continue to be inspired by the goodwill shown to me, and hope that the coming days will provide an opportunity to reflect on all that has been achieved during the last seventy years, as we look to the future with confidence and enthusiasm.”
