Princess Eugenie has shared a selection of sweet new snaps of her and baby August visiting London’s Green Park and a rather unexpected art installation of giant wooden elephants.

The 31-year-old granddaughter to the Queen shared pictures of her and four-month-old August Philip Hawke Brooksbank during their sweet mother-son outing on Tuesday.

Princess Eugenie held her son in three photos, which were shared on her personal Instagram page. Eugenie was looking glamorous and summery in a floral green and blue dress, paired with casual white sneakers, while the littlest royal wore an entirely blue ensemble topped off with a sweet blue hat.

According to the Instagram post, the Princess and her son were visiting a new art installation by CoExistence, which features 100 life-size elephant sculptures.

As a patron of the nonprofit Elephant Family NGO, Eugenie revealed it was a cause close to her heart, and that one of the elephants even shared a name with her son.

“A giant herd of 100+ elephants has arrived in Green Park to share their @coexistence.story with London this summer,” she wrote. “As a Patron of @elephantfamily and an honorary Matriarch it’s my pleasure to share this journey with you.”

“Within The Tea Timers herd is a wonderful baby elephant called Assam August – and it was such a pleasure to take my August to meet him.”

Fans flocked to the post to comment on how beautiful Eugenie looked, and how adorable the youngest royal was, with many highlighting how much he looked like his dad.

“You look beautiful and look at baby August! So cute,” one commented. While another said, “What a handsome little one you have”.

“How lovely! August looks just like his papa,” one wrote, while another described him as a “photocopy” of his father.

While most were focused on how cute August was, some pointed out the young man’s expression looked a little less than delighted.

“Too cute, but he got the disgruntled expression from Prince George,” someone wrote.

Four-month-old August was born on February 9, and is the first child of Princess Eugenie and her husband Jack Brooksbank. It didn’t take the royal long to share the first photo of her new son, taking to Instagram to share a sweet photo of his tiny hand shortly after the birth.

Like most proud mums, the princess has been no stranger to sharing images of the sweet new royal since his birth, just recently sharing a series of stories to mark World Oceans Day. In the clips, August can be heard making the cutest baby noises as he plays with a stuffed animal shark.

The new mum also shared a photo of her son August as she celebrated her first-ever Mother’s Day earlier this year.

The sweet photo showed a five-week-old August wearing fluffy rabbit slippers on a blanket amongst the daffodils. In the post, Eugenie gushed over her love of being a mother and also wished her own mum a happy Mother’s Day with a throwback photo of the Duchess of York holding her as a baby in 1990.

“I’m so excited to be August’s mum and as you can see I’m enjoying my first Mother’s Day,” she wrote. “I’m also celebrating my beautiful Mumma with this picture of us from March 1990. You’ve taught me so much.”

Princess Eugenie isn’t the only royal supporting the cause with Prince Charles and Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall holding titles as the Joint Royal Presidents of the Elephant Family, which was cofounded by Camilla’s late brother.

Just last week Camilla stepped out in a unique feather-print dress to attend a story-telling event for local schoolchildren in London’s St James’ Park. The duchess was there to help celebrate the opening of the elephant “story trail” created by the National Literacy Trust, of which Camilla is patron.
