A new photo of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s two-year-old son Archie is making the rounds on social media, and fans can’t get over how similar he looks to his mum, Meghan.

The new image of Archie was taken from footage featured in an episode of Prince Harry’s new mental health TV mini-series with American talk show host Oprah Winfrey named The Me You Can’t See, which aired last Friday, The Sun reports. A royal watcher has now shared the snapshot of Archie, who is pictured sitting on a swing outside the couple’s US $14 million (AU $18 million) Montecito home, alongside a childhood photo of Meghan to Twitter — and it’s getting a lot of attention from Twitter users.

“Archie … looking a lot like Meghan,” the original poster Twitter user @troubleshade captioned the post.

It didn’t take long before other Twitter users started comparing Archie’s curly, brownish-red locks to his mother’s. It’s not clear how old Meghan is in the picture, however she looks to be about six months.

Twitter user @Erikk_the_Dane2 wrote, “I have always said that Archie looks like his mother, from the first time we saw him at the photo call. He’s a mini Meghan with his curly and wavy hair.”

Meanwhile @KellyCybele added that the pair have the exact same eyes, and @SandraP63416553 commented, “One thing’s for sure — looks like a very happy baby.”

Since Archie’s birth — May 6, 2019 — the Sussexes have done a pretty good job at keeping him away from the public eye, and have only shared a handful of images of the tiny tot. Earlier this month, Harry and Meghan treated royal fans to a new pic of Archie to mark his second birthday.

The new photo showed the little boy clutching a bunch of balloons and looking up as they floated above his head. The image was posted to the website for Harry and Meghan’s Archewell Foundation, alongside a message asking fans to donate their money to support the couple’s latest cause to distribute Covid-19 vaccines around the world.

Archie is set to become a big brother, with Meghan due in coming weeks. The former senior royals announced their baby news in February this year with a beautiful black-and-white pic. In the photograph, Harry, 36, can be seen cradling Meghan, 39, while she holds her baby bump. The photo was taken by their good friend, photographer Misan Harriman. A month later, in their controversial tell-all chat with Oprah Winfrey, Meghan revealed that they are having a baby girl.
