Sophie, Countess of Wessex, was positively glowing as she stepped out in a stunning summer frock for a day out watching hockey with her young daughter, Lady Louise Windsor.
Prince Edward’s wife, 53, looked stunning in the brown dress, flecked with a white patterned design, which was shorter than her usual style and sat just above the knee.
As usual, Sophie looked effortlessly elegant as she opted for natural and understated make-up, showing off her tan as the UK enjoy a heatwave, and tying her blonde locks back in a simple yet sophisticated pony tail.
She completed the look with a pair of tan wedged heels and a pair of studded earrings, while her eye-catching engagement and wedding rings were also hard to miss as they sparkled in the sunshine.

The Queen’s granddaughter Lady Louise wore a cute blue dress which featured a girly white floral pattern with a matching pair of trainers, and mirrored her mum with her blonde hair tied back away from her face.
The Countess beamed as she took her 14-year-old daughter to watch the final match of the Hockey Women’s World Cup, in London, on Sunday.
Sophie, who is Royal Patron of England Hockey, posed for photos with some of the sport’s biggest stars after watching the Netherlands beat Ireland 6-0 to take the title, and took to the field to hand out medals to the two teams.
