Duchess of Cambridge marks Princess Charlotte’s 7th birthday with cute photos
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have delighted royal fans after sharing a series of adorable photos of their daughter Princess Charlotte to mark her 7th birthday.
The photos, which were snapped by her mother Kate Middleton, show the young royal in a field in Norfolk surrounded by bluebells. Another photo shows the Princess smiling as she holds the family dog, Orla. Charlotte, the only daughter of Prince William and Kate, is fourth in line to the throne.
“The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are delighted to share three new photographs of Princess Charlotte ahead of her seventh birthday tomorrow,” the Cambridges said in a statement.
“Thank you for all the lovely messages on Princess Charlotte’s seventh birthday!” Prince William and Kate captioned one of the photos.
Royal fans were quick to wish the young royal a happy birthday while remarking on her resemblance to her father.
“Happy happy birthday Princess Charlotte ❤️❤️. Wishing you decades and decades of continued love, health, happiness, joy and laughter,” wrote one fan.
“She looks soo like William!!”
“I usually think she looks like The Queen but in this first one she resembles her dad,” wrote another.
“No way! She’s so grown up already.”
“A mix between William and the Queen ???? happy birthday princess.”
Kate has made a tradition of sharing photos of her children to celebrate their birthdays, the amateur photographer who is also the patron of the Royal Photographic Society recently released photos of her son Prince Louis for his fourth birthday.
Princess Charlotte was most recently spotted with her family as they attended a traditional Easter service at Windsor Castle on Sunday, April 17, wearing elegant light blue outfits in celebration of the sacred day. Princess Charlotte stole the show in a light blue and white floral dress, lined baby blue stockings and a cropped dark blue cardigan.
Following the service, an adorably impatient Princess Charlotte was pictured tugging lightly at her mum’s dress appearing to direct her away from the church entrance at the end of the ceremony.
