The Danish royal family has released gorgeous new portraits of Princess Mary of Denmark and family in celebration of the princess’s 50th birthday on Saturday, February 5.

Released via the official Danish royal family Instagram, the portraits featured stunning photos of Princess Mary and husband Prince Frederik, 53, as they posed elegantly with their four children; the entire family dressed in white and children wearing matching blue jeans.

The portrait took a relaxed stance, with the family lounged on the couch in a casual but graceful formation. The post was captioned, “Tomorrow, Her Royal Highness the Crown princess turns 50 years old, the Crown Prince and Crown Princess have the pleasure of publishing new pictures of the family.”

“Tomorrow’s birthday party will celebrate the birthday privately with family and friends in Frederik VII’s Palace at Amalienborg, and on the Royal House’s social media it will be possible throughout the day to congratulate Her Royal Highness on the round day.”

Multiple other portraits were also posted to the Instagram, featuring gorgeous solo shots of Princess Mary and romantic captures of the royal couple.

Princess Mary sported gorgeous beige slacks paired with a white long-sleeved button-up, elegant gold jewelry and subtle, relaxed curls. Husband Prince Frederik complimented the princess well, also dressed in a white button-up and black slacks.

The portraits are a welcomed update for fans, who were left wanting more after the Danish palace released breathtaking photos of the royal couple last week, January 31. The pair were dressed to the nine’s as they posed in stunning royal regalia in commemoration of princess Mary’s milestone birthday.

The couple share four children aged 16 years of age; Prince Christian, 16, Princess Isabella, 14 and twins Princess Josephine and Prince Vincent, 11.
