Revealed: The stain busting hack transforming worn Tupperware to its former glory

For many of us, keeping Tupperware clean and stain-free has remained one of life’s constant challenges.

From reheating sauces to storing leftovers, these convenient containers often suffer unsightly stains that seem almost impossible to remove.

Even after endless scrubbing, soaking, and washing, the remains of your previous meals leave their mark on the once-pristine surfaces.

However, in news that will no doubt be welcomed by those embarrassed by their unsightly containers, a TikToker user has shared the simple cleaning hack that does away with those built-in stains.

“My friend’s grandma taught me this a long time ago,” TikToker Ariganja said as she demonstrated the process.

Ariganja begins the video by showing viewers her stained Tupperware container, before filling the container with a small amount of hot water and some washing up liquid. She then adds two to three small pieces of ripped paper towel into the mix.

She then firmly reseals the lid onto the Tupperware and commences to shake it vigorously. After shaking it for a brief period, she shows that the Tupperware container has returned to its former glory and is sparkling clean once again.

The cleaning hack quickly ignited a frenzy of excitement among users, with people around the world looking forward to the prospect of restoring their stained containers to their original condition.

“Can confirm this works. I don’t even use that much water. It’s so awesome!” one user wrote.

For instance, an Australian homeowner recently revealed her ingenious method for maintaining a flawlessly clean dishwasher by employing an unexpected food item.

Taking to the Simple Savers Facebook page, she demonstrated her almost effortless technique for incorporating a handful of leftover lemons into each dishwasher cycle that leaves the dishwasher sparkling clean and free of any nasty buildup.

She explained that although her husband usually buys Logix Dishwasher Cleaner to get the dishwasher clean, she found the natural alternative worked just as well.

“My husband insists on buying this to clean the dishwasher,” she wrote.

“I blew his mind by throwing my used lime/ lemon wedges (used in drinks, salad dressings, home made hummus etc) into the dishwasher WHILE it was cleaning dishes to clean the dishwasher.

“No extra cost, no need to do it separately to cleaning the dishes (wasting heaps of water) and a sparkling dishwasher!”
