Princess Eugenie announces she’s pregnant with first child
Joyous royal baby news has just been announced by Princess Eugenie via Instagram. The Princess has posted a picture of small bear booties on Instagram at 6.30pm AEST on the 26th September with the message, “Jack and I are so excited for early 2021….”
Princess Eugenie married Jack Brooksbank in October 2018 at a regal ceremony watched by millions across the world.
The baby will be the ninth grandchild for the Queen and Prince Philip. It will also be the first grandchild for Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson, the Duchess of York.
Buckingham Palace has confirmed the announcement via Twitter.
“Her Royal Highness Princess Eugenie and Mr Jack Brooksbank are very pleased to announce that they are expecting a baby in early 2021. The Duke of York and Sarah, Duchess of York, Mr and Mrs George Brooksbank, The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh are delighted with the news.”
