The always impeccable Nicole Kidman has revealed she learnt to perfect her makeup skills as a teenager while partying at a transsexual club.
The talented actress told the Courier Mail she was a regular at Stranded during her teens and gained more than some fun nights with friends.
As a 16-year-old, Nicole said she loved to visit the Sydney based club and picked up some extra skills along the way.
“I learned a lot of my makeup and hair tricks there,” she explained to the publication. “Actually, I got a lot of my dance moves there, too.”
The Eyes Wide Shut star said she is a great supporter of gay marriage and homosexual relationships and grew up in a a very supportive family.
“I am in full support of love who you love, and I have conducted my whole life that way,” she told the Courier Mail.
“I grew up in a family where that was just not a question.”
Despite her own views on the subject, Nicole’s latest role in the movie The Boy Erased takes a completely different stance.
Starring alongside fellow Aussie Russell Crowe, the Big Little Lies actress plays the role of hairdresser Nancy, while Crowe takes on the role of Marshall, who is a Baptist preacher, struggling to come to terms with his son’s admission that he is gay.

The film focuses on Jared Eamons, the son of Baptist, parents who is forced to take part in a gay conversion therapy program.
The movie is based on Garrard Conley’s 2016 memoir of the same name and is directed by fellow Australian Joel Edgerton.

There has also generated Oscar buzz among film critics, and many fans have taken to Twitter to express their excitement ahead of its release.
“This movie has Academy Awards written all over it!!! Best Adapted screenplay, Best Actors, Best Song… Mark my words!” one person commented.
“So good to finally see Russell and Nicole in one movie together. Can’t wait for this,” another added.
While a third said: “Omg, this movie looks amazing and Nicole Kidman looks absolutely gorgeous and so talented.”
