Meghan Markle has once again delighted fans with a rare and intimate glimpse into her family life, sharing a heartwarming photo of her daughter, Lilibet.
The new image captures the three-year-old sitting comfortably in her father, Prince Harry’s lap, while he lovingly kisses the top of her head.
Along with the photo, Meghan shared a message celebrating International Women’s Day, honouring the “strong women around us & the girls with dreams”.
“Happy International Women’s Day!” she wrote.
“Celebrating the strong women around us & the girls with dreams who will become women with vision. Also thanking those who uplift us every day.”
The touching photo comes after Meghan shared another sweet family moment recently, with footage on Instagram of Lilibet playing a game of Candyland alongside tennis legend Serena Williams.
Dressed in a pink long-sleeved top and floral pants, Lilibet stood by Serena’s side as they enjoyed the popular board game, with Meghan close by.
“When the aunties come to play and celebrate! Love you @serenawilliams,” Meghan captioned the footage.
Both of Harry and Meghan’s children, Archie and Lilibet, are rarely seen by the public, as the couple choose to keep their family out of the public eye.
A friend close to the couple recently offered some insight into why they are so secretive when it comes to their kids, revealing that it’s primarily a matter of safety.
“I think every parent wants to share their kid with the world, but they just can’t,” the friend told US Weekly.
“William’s kids, for example, have way more safety, even though they’re recognizable. And the same doesn’t apply to Meghan and Harry’s children. They know the world wants to see [them but] I would expect them to live smaller lives until that gets sorted, if it ever does.”
