Fans have been left in awe by the dramatic weight loss of The Chase star, Mark Labbett, following his latest social media post flaunting his slender figure.

In his most recent snapshot, the slimmed-down star sported a surprised expression while gearing up to enjoy a steak meal.

“Having a sneaky Steak and Chips at Seasons Restaurant. Protein loading,” he captioned the photo.

Fans who have been following Labbett’s weight loss journey continue to be amazed by his transformation. His latest post elicited praise from followers, many blown away by his progress.

“Mark you look amazing,” one fan commented.

“You look so slim, well done! X.”

“Well done on all the weight lost. It’s taken years off of you.”

“Looking good Mark!” commented another.

“Bloody hell what a difference, well done Mark.”

In December 2021, during an appearance on the British daytime talk show Loose Women, Labbett shared some of the secrets behind his dramatic weight loss. The quizmaster revealed that at his heaviest he weighed 185 kilograms and was down to 135 kilograms at the time, revealing he was “doing okay.”

He accreted his weight loss journey to his diet and the effects of “changing his habits”.

“I’m on a high protein diet… so eating an awful lot of meat and lean meat, and as much as I love chips and other carbs, I’m having quite a bit less than I used to,” he said.

He also told the show how looking after a toddler during lockdown had contributed to his weight-loss progress.

“The principal thing has been running around after a hyperactive three-year-old in lockdown when the nursery was shut,” Labbett explained.

“I found at the end of the evening instead of going to the fridge for late-night snacking, all I could do was collapse on the bed.”
