‘Grateful’ Tallulah Willis honours dad and Hollywood star Bruce Willis amid health battle

Designer Tallulah Willis has shared new pictures of her famous father Bruce Willis which shows their family bonds are as strong as ever despite his debilitating health challenges.

The 31 year old took to Instagram after her sister Rumer shared a devastating update on his life with dementia last week on social media.

Tallulah uploaded a carousel of sweet images on the social media platform which showed the 70 year old star and daughter relaxing with family for a Sunday get-together.

One photo shows an adoring Tallulah holding on to her father’s hand as she sits on a family-room floor, while another picture shows the two in a close hug.

An additional photo shows Tallulah’s fiancé Justin Acee smiling, with his arm around Bruce who looked bemused by his future son-in-law.

She captioned the sweet album: “Sunday funday at Grams! Grateful”.

Fans were profoundly moved by the snaps and rushed to offer their support to Tallulah and the extended Willis clan in the comment section.

“My dad is going through the same thing and it warms my heart to see when loved ones who have dementia have good days and can remember you and smile,” one commented.

“Love seeing your sweet daddy! Thanks for sharing! We wish him all the best!” one added.

“Thanks for sharing Bruce with us. It’s good to see his smile and yours as well,” another commented.

The Die Hard star shares daughters Rumer 36, Scout 33, and Tallulah with ex-wife Demi Moore, who continues to support him and wife Emma Heming amid his ongoing health struggles.

While the retired actor was initially diagnosed with aphasia in 2022, his family later took to social media to share the news of the actor’s frontotemporal dementia diagnosis, expressing “relief to finally have a clear diagnosis”.

In a heartbreaking post, eldest daughter Rumer recently gave an insight into his struggles to mark Father’s Day in the US on June 15.

Writing on Instagram, Rumer revealed that she wished she had asked “more questions while you could still tell me about it all.”

“But I know you wouldn’t want me to be sad today so I’ll try to just be grateful reminding myself how lucky I am that you’re my dad and that you’re still with me,” she explained.

“I can still hold you and hug you and kiss your cheek and rub your head I can tell you stories.”

Willis achieved fame thanks to a leading role in the comedy-drama series Moonlighting and went on to appear in over 70 films. Some of Willis’s notable credits include The Last Boy Scout, Quentin Tarantino’s Pulp Fiction, science fiction hits such as 12 Monkeys, The Fifth Element, and Armageddon, as well as the supernatural thriller The Sixth Sense.

However, it was his role as John McClane in the Die Hard franchise that gave him global recognition and cemented his status as an action star.
