Hollywood femme fatale Sharon Stone is opening up about the loss of her beloved brother, Patrick Stone, a month after his passing.
The 65-year-old Basic Instinct star lost her younger brother in February after a sudden and fatal heart attack.
Speaking to the Daily Mail, Stone shared that even though she’s “worked with death a lot” through her work as an AIDS ambassador, the loss of her brother has been extremely difficult for her to cope with.
Saying that Patrick’s passing has been “a lot [and] the impact is just devastating”.
“I’m just trying to take each day as it comes. I just have to try to understand,” she said.

Stone had previously taken to social media to express her grief and thank fans for their “love and support” as she fought back tears over the “tremendous amount of loss” her family has endured.
“Hello everybody, this message is to confirm that, yes, we did lose my brother, Patrick Joseph Stone, to a heart attack yesterday,” she said at the time.
“Yes, he is the man who was the father to River who we lost… at 11 months old.
“He is survived by his wife Tasha and his son Hunter and his daughter Cailee.
“Like any family, we thank you for your love and support in this time of immeasurable grief and we appreciate all of your condolences.
“Yes we’ve had a tremendous amount of loss in these last couple of years, as so many of you also have.
“I thank you very much for the love and support that you’re showing us and we just ask you to continue to be kind. Thank you.”

News of Patrick’s passing was first confirmed by his wife, Tasha Stone, who shared the devastating announcement on Facebook.
“My heart feels like it’s been ripped out of my chest. Patrick went to be with our sweet River around 3:30 this morning,” Tasha’s emotional post read.
“I wanted a lifetime with him and even though 20 years is a long time it wasn’t enough time. He was my soul mate.
“… I’m not ready and I don’t want to say goodbye. I want to do this life with you. I’ll always love you.”
Patrick’s passing comes nearly two years after the death of his son, River, who died on August 2021 due to total organ failure, he was only 11 months old.
