They’re arguably one of Hollywood’s most-loved couples, and it looks like there’s still plenty of love between Rod Stewart and his stunning wife Penny Lancaster, as they celebrated the ‘Maggie May’ singer’s 74th birthday on Thursday.
The 47-year-old model took to social media to share a glamorous photo of herself with Rod to celebrate the occasion. The stylish couple, who tied the knot in 2007, were the epitome of true love as the sipped fruity cocktails in a fancy limousine.
Dressed for the occasion, Rod showed off his signature quirky fashion sense in a tailored black suit with leopard print lapels, while Penny matched his wild look in a striking leopard print coat.
“Happy birthday to the one I love and always will,” she wrote.

Fans were quick to give Rod birthday wishes, with one writing: “Happy belated birthday to my favourite singer!”
Another added: “Happy Birthday Sir Rod. God Bless you! With much Love and respect. Your biggest fan since age nine!”
And a third wrote: “Happy Birthday, Rod. You are one of the best dressers ever, and just an outstanding vocalist.”

The rocker’s been happily married to wife Penny since 2007 and despite his reputation, he now says he’s happy to have a kiss and a cuddle before bed, and nothing more.
In a very candid chat with the Mail Online in August, he said: “I love sex with my wife but I love just giving her a hug before we go to bed. Every night we have a kiss and a hug and that doesn’t always lead to sex but it’s still lovely.”
He added that he wouldn’t swap happy family life with Penny and their sons Aiden, 7, and Alastair, 12, for a return to his lothario days, which Stewart admits saw him act like a cad plenty of times.
“It was a different era but that’s no excuse really,” he says of the abrupt way he ended some previous dalliances. “I can be accused of being cowardly, and rightly so.”
Rod has been married twice before, once to American actress Alana Hamilton and a second time to model Rachel Hunter, and has eight children in total as well as one grandchild.
