Ray Hadley has officially tied the knot for the third time. The 66-year-old and his new bride Sophie Baird, who’s also his personal assistant, said ‘I do’ in an intimate ceremony in New South Wales on Saturday.
The wedding was held at Saddles, a gourmet restaurant in Mount White, NSW, The Daily Telegraph reports. The couple had no bridal party, and there were no personally penned gushing wedding vows, Sophie told the publication, saying it just wasn’t “our thing”.
Ray’s official Facebook page has since shared several snaps from the big day.
The first picture shows Ray’s bride-to-be walking down the aisle in a beautiful white off-the-shoulder silk dress with her father David. A second snap shows Sophie staring adoringly at Ray, who looks very dapper in a black suit and blue tie, as he fiddles with the wedding rings. The last picture is a close up of both Ray and Sophie walking hand-in-hand.
The news photos also give fans a glimpse at the wedding theme, with a simple wooden arbour adorned with white flowers framing the pair as they said their vows.

People were quick to comment on the beautiful photos, with Prime Minister Scott Morrison one of the first to congratulate the couple on their nuptials.
“Congratulations Ray and Sophie, best wishes for your future together. ScoMo,” he commented.
Meanwhile one Facebook user wrote: “Congratulations to you both … you both look incredibly happy … hope your lives together bring you much love and joy xx
Another added: “What a beautiful wedding Ray congratulations to you and Sophie. Enjoy your many years to come together.”
Ray also shared a video from the reception, which shows him and and his new wife tearing up the dance floor.
The couple, who have worked together for nearly 18 years, began dating in early 2018, before Ray popped the question at the end of 2019. Ray and Sophie originally planned for a June 2020 wedding, but those plans were postponed due to Covid-19.
Ahead of Saturday’s nuptials, Ray told fellow 2GB radio host Ben Fordham that Sophie invited his first wife Anne Marie Hadley, with whom he shares two children and three grandchildren, to the wedding.
“Anne Marie, who I was married to and we had Dan and Laura and she’s the grandmother to our grandchildren, she’s coming to the wedding tomorrow at Sophie’s insistence,” he said. “She wants her to be there with the kids and with the grandkids as it makes Dan and Laura happy, it makes me happy, it makes her happy.”
