‘Onwards we go’: Pierce Brosnan’s sweet tribute to wife Keely Shaye on her birthday
Hollywood actor Pierce Brosnan has paid a sweet tribute to his wife, Keely Shaye, for her 59th birthday.
Taking to social media, the 69-year-old Bond star shared an adorable selfie of himself being snuggled from behind by his wife, looking tropical and relaxed with a gorgeous pink hibiscus flower in her hair.
“Happy Birthday my darling @KeelyShayeBrosnan. I love you dearly. So many years of love, life, work and play. Onwards we go!,” Brosnan captioned the image.

Friends and fans of the loved-up couple joined the actor in wishing his wife a happy birthday in the comments.
“Happy Birthday “nutty Keely” the sweetest ever!,” commented actress and singer Rita Wilson.
“Happy birthday beautiful, soulful @keelyshayebrosnan !,” wrote American model Cindy Crawdord.
“The most inspiring couple there ever was. Love you and HBD Queen Keely. Love you dearly too,” one friend commented.

It’s no secret the couple are deeply in love, with both sharing touching tributes to each other on their wedding anniversary earlier this year, August 5.

Shaye kept her tribute short and sweet: “Happy Anniversary my love.”
The couple tied the knot in Brosnan’s homeland Ireland, at Ballintubber Abbey on August 4, 2001.
Despite being married for 21 years, the couple like to count it as 28 years in celebration of the first time they met in 1994.

Often nominated as the “Sexiest man alive”, Brosnan has fathered five children, two to Kaye, and three to his first wife, Cassandra Harris, who passed away from ovarian cancer in 1991. Brosnan also has two adopted children from Harris’ first marriage.

With Shaye often doting on her “tender-hearted, funny and always adventurous husband”, and Brosnan her, the pair act as if they’re on their honeymoon all the time.
Brosnan told People magazine in 2017 when asked to describe the perfect day that it was any day spent with his wife.
“It was yesterday” the James Bond actor began.
“I painted in my studio, then I went down and sat on the beach, read and did some drawing — and then I had lunch with Keely.
“Around 5 o’clock, I went out and watched the sun go down. Keely sat beside me, we had a glass of champagne and talked about the day.
“It’s very simple — and the best.”
