Nicole Kidman dons unusual bird-like dress at recent premiere appearance

Nicole Kidman has attended The Northman premiere in Los Angeles on April 18, 2022, wearing quite the unusual outfit indeed.

The popular Being the Ricardos actress opted for a bold look as she donned a Prada feather dress in a subtle nod to the house’s Fall 2022 runway collection who had featured a similar look a number of times on their recent runway.

Kidman certainly gave fans something to talk about as she rocked the mustard floor length dress embellished from thigh to ankle with glitzy pink beads. Most notably, the dress bore bright orange wing-like feathers on the upper arms as she paired the unusual ensemble with a black turtle neck under shirt, black heels and a reflective silver/black clutch.

The actress wore her hair in an elegant up do, with her long fiery orange fringe draped over the right side of her face. The hairstyle only added to the ‘bird-like’ appearance, which left fans divided on the actress’s choice of dress and sense of style for the occasion.

“Sorry but that dress is awful looks like it’s dirty and needs a good iron. Don’t know what you were thinking there you are normally dressed exquisitely,” criticised one fan.

“Animal feathers? No.”

Other fans praised the dress, describing Kidman as “beautiful” and “perfection”.

Kidman stars as Queen Gudrún in the new The Northman film which was released in cinemas on April 21, 2022. The action film follows the young Viking prince on his quest to avenge his father’s murder.
