Loved up Hollywood icon Michael Douglas has outdone husbands everywhere after posting a touching video tribute to his wife Catherine Zeta-Jones to celebrate 21 years of marriage.

The 77-year-old Basic Instinct star posted the heartwarming video montage to his Instagram alongside the caption, “Happy Anniversary my darling Catherine! I love you so much”.

The video included romantic photos from the couple’s wedding, behind-the-scenes moments, and holiday snaps set to American Authors’ 2014 hit song, Best Day of My Life.

Fans and fellow celebrities alike were quick to congratulate the happy couple on the milestone.

Fellow Hollywood star, Michelle Phieffer wrote, “Happy Anniversary you two!”

Closer to home Douglas’ wife, Catherine showed her appreciation for the touching tribute.

“Love love love this. Love love love you,” she wrote.

Douglas’ son, Cameron Douglas, congratulated the couple on their special day.

“Happy Anniversary Love you both. Enjoy your special day! Many more to come.”

Fans of The Kominsky Method star also shared their praise on the couple’s 21 years together.

Douglas has never been one to shy away from publicly declaring his love and admiration for his wife. Earlier this year he took to Instagram again to wish his partner a happy birthday.

“My first night meeting Catherine at the Deauville Film Festival in 1998. I found out that she had the same birthday as me–tadaah! Then when I discovered she loved golf, I realized all my fantasies had come true. I’ve lucked out at this time in my life. I just lucked out. I’m so impressed by her intelligence, sense of humor and work ethic. Happy Birthday Catherine- I love you so much!” he captioned the post.
