Hugh Jackman delivers touching Valentine’s Day message to wife Deborra-Lee Furness

As couples across the globe spent Valentine’s Day celebrating their love, Hugh Jackman marked the day with a heartfelt message to his wife.

Jackman took to Instagram on the annual day of love to share a photo of himself and his wife, Deborra-Lee Furness, while celebrating his wife’s “humor, generosity, wisdom and spirit”.

“Happy Valentine’s love. You light up the room wherever you go … your humor, generosity, wisdom and spirit shines so bright. I celebrate you on our 28th Valentine’s together. I ❤️ you,” he wrote alongside the photo.

Following the touching expression of love, many of Jackman’s followers expressed their appreciation for the loved up couple while wishing them all the best.

Jackman has never been one to shy away from expressing his love and adoration for his wife, in 2022 he paid a sweet tribute to his “extraordinary” wife of 26 years for her birthday.

The beloved entertainer praised his 67-year-old wife for being the light of his life, sharing an adorable image of the pair on Instagram on Wednesday, November 30.

“Happy birthday to my extraordinary wife,” the 54-year-old said.

“This is the 28th time I’ve celebrated this day with you. You’ve taught me many things, including how to celebrate.

“Celebrate life, family, friendship and love. Your light and joy lights up all around you! The kids are I bask in that glow every day and today we pray you feel all the love reflected back at you. x I love you.”

Earlier in 2022, Jackman celebrated a major relationship milestone, snapping a candid pic with his wife while they enjoyed a romantic day at the beach in a touching tribute to the couple’s “extraordinary” 26 years of marriage.

Taking to Instagram on Tuesday, April 12, Jackman shared the loved-up snap alongside the caption, “Today I celebrate 26 years of marriage to my extraordinary wife.”

“Every single day is filled with so much laughter, joy and backgammon,” he wrote.

Jackman went on to express his overwhelming love for Furness, holding little back as he conveyed his feelings to his millions of fans.

“Deb you light up my life,” Jackman professed.

“I love you with all my heart!”

Jackman and Furness first met on the set of the Australian mini-series, Corelli. Jackman admitted he felt an instant attraction to Furness, confessing during an interview with Sunday TODAY that he “knew two weeks into meeting Deb that we were going to be together for the rest of our lives”.
