Snap-happy Bindi Irwin shares adorable new photo of baby Grace

Bindi Irwin and her husband Chandler Powell welcomed their first child last month, and now the 22-year-old has shared an adorable up-close snap of her baby girl, Grace Warrior Irwin Powell.

Grace was born on Thursday, March 25, coincidentally the same day the young couple celebrated their first wedding anniversary. Since then, Bindi has shared several updates with fans. In the latest update on Tuesday, the two-week-old was cosied up in a sweet onesie that featured a beautiful floral design. Grace may only be just a few weeks old, but we can already see a strong family resemblance!

“Our beautiful girl, always dreaming,” Bindi captioned the post.

The new pic comes just one week after Bindi shared another adorable update with fans. Last Thursday, the new mum shared a sweet photo of her and Chandler cuddling up to Grace, with the caption: “Our perfect Grace Warrior is one week old. This week has been filled with sweet snuggles and infinite love.”

Bindi and Chandler announced Grace’s birth on March 26. At the time, Bindi explained that the name Grace came from her great-grandmother, and relatives in Chandler’s family dating back to the 1700s. She also revealed Grace’s middle name ‘Warrior Irwin’ was a tribute to her late dad Steve, who sadly passed away in 2006.

“March 25, 2021. Celebrating the two loves of my life. Happy first wedding anniversary to my sweetheart husband and day of birth to our beautiful daughter. Grace Warrior Irwin Powell. Our graceful warrior is the most beautiful light,” Bindi wrote on Instagram, alongside a precious photo of baby Grace.

She continued: “There are no words to describe the infinite amount of love in our hearts for our sweet baby girl. She chose the perfect day to be born and we feel tremendously blessed.”

And just last week it was announced that a new documentary about Bindi’s pregnancy journey will be released. The documentary in question is called Crikey! It’s A Baby! and will follow the young couple as they prepare for the arrival of their little girl. It’s also been widely reported that Terri and Robert will also make an appearance. The doco is set to air May 22 at 6.30pm on Animal Planet.
