Andrea Bocelli unveils monumental 30th anniversary concert film in Tuscany

Opera fans should get ready to be swept away into a realm of musical enchantment as legendary tenor, Andrea Bocelli, celebrates three decades in music with an unforgettable 30th anniversary concert in Tuscany.

The three-day event will take place in Lajatico at the Teatro del Silenzio on July 15, 17, and 19. All three evenings will commemorate the iconic tenor’s glittering career and will feature captivating duets with a star studded lineup of global artists including Ed Sheeran, Shania Twain, Placido Domingo, Jose Carreras, and more.

Regarding his upcoming concert Bocelli said, ““As a child, I learned to dream about my future in the enchanted silence of these hills. Then life made that dream happen.

“Today, 30 years later, I can only imagine celebrating my career and my life, its strength, and its wondrous beauty here at Teatro del Silenzio, surrounded by such wonderful artists and friends.

“I want to thank everyone who helped my childhood dreams come true with an unforgettable concert.”

Bocelli’s fans lit up X with excited anticipation for the concert film.

“Ohhhhh!!!! My!!!!!! Goodness!!!!! I can ONLY IMAGINE how extraordinary this event will be!!!! Wish I could be there,” one wrote.

“I’ve never been into classical music or opera. But Andrea Bocelli is definitely 1 I would like to see. 1 of my favourites is time to say good bye just beautiful.”

“Have fun in Tuscany. Great stars together,” commented another.

Other artists expressed their excitement at being a part of Bocelli’s special event.

“It will be a great pleasure the take part in The Celebration, a special event to commemorate my friend Andrea Bocelli’s 30-year career at the Teatro del Silenzio, together with a host of other special guests and friends,” said Italian singer and songwriter Zucchero Fornaciari.

American actress and singer, Sofia Carson who will also be a part of the lineup said, “Infinitely. Honored. @AndreaBocelli.” 

Taking place in Bocelli’s hometown, the concert film will capture the maestro and partners’ live performance and allow viewers to experience the music and energy of the event from the comfort of their homes.

The film will be directed by Grammy-nominee and Emmy Award-winner Sam Wrench, director of Taylor Swift’s recent The Eras Tour.

About the upcoming extravaganza, Wrench said, “You can’t get much more cinematic than Andrea Bocelli against the Tuscan landscape.

“I’m incredibly excited to bring this once in a lifetime concert to cinemas around the world with his unique voice, this world class team and enviable list of special guests.”
