Aldi is loved by Aussies for its ridiculously low prices and weekly special buys deals that have previously included everything from skiing gear to pancake pans, fridges to gazebos and even surfboards. And Aldi’s special buys have become a cult favourite, as dedicated bargain hunters flock to their nearest supermarket each Wednesday and Saturday to snap up the latest offerings before they’re all gone.

Last month the store released a range of ‘Timeless Dining’ products, which included a pair of electronic salt and pepper mills for only $9.99 each. The dinnerware range also included a four-pack dinnerware set for $9.99 and serving boards made from American oak wood for just $19.99.

Meanwhile earlier this year the store released a range of ‘Home Care’ products aimed at ageing consumers, which included an assisted living toilet suite, which was being sold with free home installation for just $399. The store also sold a limited number of motorised armchairs for $299, as well as a folding toilet frame and an adjustable shower stool which only set shoppers back $59.99 and $39.99 respectively.
