For many of us, cleaning feels like a never-ending chore, and tackling pots and pans with baked-on grease and stubborn stains can quickly become a nightmare, especially when they refuse to come clean.
But consider this your reprieve from having to deal with those dirty dishes, because one cleaning professional has come up with a cheap cleaning solution that uses a surprising household item you probably have lying around.
The cleaning wiz Organize Ways regularly shares tricks and tips for cleaning and organising your home on a budget.
In her most recent post she reveals the “ultimate natural cleaning trio” consists of baking powder, washing powder and eggshells.
Yes, eggshells.
“DIY Cleaning Powder that works! Say goodbye to tough stains!” she states.
In her video, the home organiser boils a large pot filled with eggs on her stovetop.
After draining her pot, she then removes the eggshells from the eggs and crushes the shells into pieces before adding two tablespoons of baking soda and one tablespoon of washing powder into a blender.
Next, the ingredients are blended together to make a smooth paste. With a wet sponge, you can scrub the paste onto stubborn stains in the kitchen.

While another applauded her use of baking soda, “Baking soda….🙌”
Organize Ways is not the only professional organiser causing a stir in the kitchen.
Recently Anita Birges unveiled her oven-cleaning hack on social media, not only leaving ovens gleaming but also saving the backs of homeowners across the country in the process.
“I have the OVEN CLEANING HACK you need to know,” Birges began.
“This makes it so much easier to clean without breaking your back in the process
“Fortunately, the removal process is simple and similar no matter what kind of oven you have. All you have to do is slide the door’s hinges out from the oven’s frame. Some doors are also held in place by latches you can unlock by hand. When you’re ready to put the door back on, you can slide the hinges back into place again.
“But wait…. there’s more‼️
“You can also remove the glass to get in between the glass panels
“There are usually two retaining tabs on the sides between the two glass panels.
“Lift off the glass and make sure to handle the glass with care. They are super fragile
“Check your ovens manual, to find out where these latches and tabs are on your oven.”

“This is great. And what is the best way to clean inside and clean the trays.”
