It’s been a great week for Nicole Kidman as far as the fashion stakes are concerned.
The 49-year-old household name has been turning heads and cameras in her direction all week at the 70th Anniversary Cannes Film Festival where two of her movies are up for the prestigious Palme d’Or award.
She looked as fresh as a daisy last night when she attended the Cannes amfAR Gala with numerous media outlets commenting on her youthful beauty.
Kidman went for a slightly more polished look with her blonde tresses pulled tight into a bun atop her head, with a few gentle wisps to highlight her delicate features.
While her makeup was subtle and showcased her age-defying beauty, her gown was absolutely stunning.
Channeling Angelina Jolie as Maleficent, the bodice and half sleeves were made entirely of shimmering black sequence off set by a mass of black feathers on the shoulders and skirt.
Cinched at the waist with a thin pink belt to temper the overall effect, Kidman kept her accessories minimal with black strappy heels, understated diamond earrings and a silver bucket bracelet on her wrist.
