Looking in the mirror lately has not been a lot of fun. I am feeling the pressure of moving house and not sleeping terribly well.
When I prepare to face the day, there are 3 simple tips I swear by that will breathe life back into my face making me appear refreshed and bright.
Wear your favourite powder cream
Give your skin’s appearance a boost! To be honest, I was dubious at first when all of these creams came along. I thought that cosmetic companies were just trying to get us to buy more products that we didn’t really need. I have since changed my tune and cannot live without these miracle creams. Be it a BB cream, a CC cream or your make-up primer – use what works for you! Your skin will instantly be transformed to a better version of itself – and who doesn’t want that?

Be sure to wear blusher
Blusher is the single most important tool in your make-up bag! Colour on the apples of your cheeks is youthful. The best colour is generally one that mimics the colour you go when you flush naturally. Apply lightly – high on the apples of the cheeks, up & back . Never go below the base of your nose.

Wear lipgloss
Glossy lips catch the light and create the illusion of fuller, more youthful lips. Put away that drab, matte, non-descript lippy and go for a rosy hue that will make your eyes sparkle. Wear lipgloss on its own or apply it to the bud of your lips over your lippy.
