‘Hard working’ Princess Anne debuts another chic look in stylish monochrome

She has been deemed one of the hardest working members of the royal family with her many official outings and meetings with the public and now Princess Anne has been spotted out and about again, this time in a gorgeous black and white frock.

The 68-year-old looked beautiful and elegant in the white, knee-length dress which featured a pattern in black for a visit to the city of Bradford to open a new textile factory.

Standing tall in black wedged heels, the Queen’s daughter was all smiles in the pretty ensemble which she paired perfectly with a tailored black jacket with gold buttons.

Anne accessorised with a pearl necklace, while she carried a black handbag and sported a pair of gloves to keep her hands warm.

During her visit to the family-run company, the Princess Royal could be seen mingling with officials as she learnt about their work producing a new eco-engineered carpet underlay which uses up-cycled bottles in its production.

Anne has yet again been praised by fans for her excellent work ethic and commitment to the royal family, with many taking to social media to share their thoughts on the senior royal.

“Understated, quiet, elegant, sophisticated, hard working,” one person wrote on Instagram. “So much respect for her.”

Another added: “One of the hardest working and most humble royals. Thank you Princess Anne.”

While a third said: “The energy she has just blows my mind. Such a hard working woman! I admire her so much.”

Anne’s most recent outings comes just days after it was announced her mother-in-law, Barbara Alison Laurence, sadly passed away at the age of 90.

An obituary posted in the UK’s Telegraph revealed the mother-of-two died peacefully at Horsfall House in Minchinhampton on July 2.

The notice states that Anne’s mother-in-law was the “much beloved widow of Guy” who was her husband, and mother to sons Jonathan and Timothy, Princess Anne’s husband.

Instead of flowers, the family asked for donations to be made to the Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI), the largest charity that saves lives at sea. According to the notice, Barbara’s funeral service will be held at St Giles Church in Great Wishford on July 20 with a wake to follow at The Royal Oak pub.

Princess Anne and Timothy have been married for almost 27 years, tying the knot back in 1992. The 68-year-old was previously married to Captain Mark Phillips, the father of her two children Peter Phillips and Zara Tindall, however they divorced in 1989.
