He might have played womanising spy James Bond on the big screen, but it’s a different story for Pierce Brosnan in real life as the actor looked as loved up as ever with wife Keely Shaye Smith.
The couple, who have been married for 17 years, beamed as they posed together on the red carpet at the Chanel Dinner Celebrating Our Majestic Oceans, in Malibu, California, on Saturday.
Pierce, 65, looked dashing in a pale grey suit, which he kept casual by opting not to wear a tie, and a pair of orange-tinted glasses, but it was his wife who stole the show in a glamorous black frock. Keely, a journalist and former model, looked sensational in the figure-hugging dress which she teamed with a simple pair of black heeled sandals.
A silver butterfly-shaped necklace drew attention to her decolletage, while the v-neck of the dress made the most of her impressive cleavage without looking tacky.
The couple weren’t the only famous faces at the benefit dinner though, they were joined at the event by a host of other celebrities, including actresses Jennifer Aniston, Julia Roberts and Andie MacDowell.
Pierce and Keely, who is the actor’s second wife, have been married since 2001 and share two children together, sons, Dylan 20, and Paris 17.
The Mamma Mia star met Keely, 54, on a beach in Mexico in 1994, but the pair waited seven years before they tied the knot in a romantic ceremony at Ballintubber Abbey, in Ireland. Pierce’s first wife Cassandra Harris, passed away from ovarian cancer in 1991, leaving Pierce a single father to their son, Sean, and Cassandra’s two children from her previous marriage, whom Pierce adopted after their father died in 1986.

Pierce, who is undoubtedly best known for his role as 007, will be back on the silver screen soon when the sequel to musical hit Mamma Mia is released next month.
The actor will reprise his role as architect Sam Carmichael in Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again, which will pick up the story a few years after Sam married hotel owner Donna, played by Meryl Streep, at the end of the first movie.
War Horse star Jeremy Irvine, 27, has also joined the cast, playing the role of a younger version of Pierce’s character, while ‘young Donna’ will be played by Downton Abbey star Lily James.
