Julie Bishop and Gladys Berejiklian led the glamour on the red carpet on Saturday for the premiere of hit musical Hamilton, and let’s just say the women brought their A-game to the event.

Others at the star-studded event, held at the Sydney’s Star Casino, included Kerri-Anne Kennerley, Lisa Wilkinson, Richard Wilkins and his new flame Nicola Dale, Angela Bishop, and Anthony Albanese, who was accompanied by his partner Jodie Haydon.

The former foreign affairs minister, 64, showed off her perfect pins in a bright orange sequin mini dress. Julie finished off the glitzy ensemble with some sparkly silver shoes, a matching clutch and wore her newly grown-out locks straight. Julie was accompanied by her partner David Panton, who perfected smart casual in a pair of navy-blue trousers, a matching jacket, white button-up and some trendy sports shoes.

Meanwhile, Gladys glammed up for the red carpet event stepping out in an edgy, fashion-forward outfit. The New South Wales premier opted for a black ruffled jacket and a reddish-purple velvet fitted skirt, which she teamed with a black bag, and a pair of heels with bows on them. As opposed to her usual straight blow dry, Gladys wore her hair in soft waves. She was accompanied by old friend and Qantas executive Andrew Parker, who matched her in a velvet jacket.

Former Studio 10 host Kerri-Anne turned heads in a fitted blue, floor-length gown. The 67-year-old looked incredibly well, considering the fact that she had suffered a nasty fall at the end of last year during a stage performance. According to reports at the time, she fell 4.5 metres from a trapeze.

The Project host Lisa Wilkinson was also in attendance, stepping out in a stunning burnt orange dress that wrapped beautifully around her frame — we especially love the dramatic sleeves and high neck! The 61-year-old wore her hair in soft waves and accessorised with silver drop earrings.

Meanwhile, Weekend Today host Richard looked very handsome in a suit and bow tie, but it was his partner Nicola that really stole the show in shimmery mini dress. The dress featured exaggerated bell sleeves and cinched in at the waist, showing off Nicola’s very small frame. She accessorised with black stilettos and minimal jewellery, while she wore her hair in effortless waves.

Opposition leader Anthony was even at the premiere, and came with his partner Jodie who wore a beautiful burgundy flowy dress. He was even interviewed by Studio 10 host Angela who sported a very colourful patterned mini dress.
