Still leading lady! Who’s the Boss? star Judith Light rocks ’80s pink power suit

Judith Light has proved she’s still well and truly leading in the style stakes after she put on a stunning display in an eye-popping pink power suit this week.

The 70-year-old actress, who starred as Angela Bower in the much-loved sitcom Who’s the Boss? alongside Tony Danza, wowed in the baby-pink ensemble as she received her star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on Thursday – looking every bit the leading lady that she is. Judith showed off her edgy style in the oversized blazer which featured 1980s-inspired shoulder pads. She completed the look with matching slightly-flared suit trousers and a pink blouse.

Standing tall, Judith chose to pair the ensemble with snakeskin stilettos, simple jewellery, and smokey eye makeup. The talented actress wore her blonde locks down in loose waves for an effortlessly chic look.

Lapping up her moment in the spotlight, the actress knelt down on the floor to pull a series of seductive and confident poses for the cameras, showing off her incredible heels as she posed on top of her star – before swapping on to a step and holding up the framed version for all to see.

Meanwhile, Judith showed off yet another stylish outfit earlier this year, stepping out in a navy-blue ensemble to attend the Lifetime Winter Movies Mixer in California, revealing her stylish transformation over the years.

The actress looked incredible in the standout ensemble which included a stylish blazer, oversized matching tailored pants, with a coordinated navy blouse underneath. Meanwhile, she accessorised with a beautiful silver brooch and matching jewellery.

And it comes after she turned heads once again in a figure-hugging full-length white gown, which featured a dramatic train, as she made a stylish entrance at the 2019 Golden Globe Awards earlier this year. Judith finished off the elegant ensemble with an eye-catching pearl necklace – adding a touch of glamour to the outfit.

Judith made name for herself in the ’80s after starring in the day time soap opera One Life to Live (1977-1983), which she won two consecutive Daytime Emmy Awards for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series.

However her signature role came in 1984 when she took on the role of power exec Angela Bower in the long-running ABC sitcom Who’s the Boss? (1984-1992). The popular series centres on a widowed ex-Major League Baseball player from Brooklyn who relocates a wealthy suburb with his daughter to become the housekeeper for a divorced advertising exec.

Judith later starred in many television films and short-lived series. Not giving up anytime soon, her latest role was starring as Shelly Pfefferman in the critically acclaimed comedy-drama series Transparent, which she received Golden Globe, Primetime Emmy, and Critics’ Choice Television Award nominations.
