Jamie Lee Curtis makes a bold statement in polka dots at her daughter’s wedding

If you thought entering your 60s meant you had to tone down things in the style stakes, think again, as Jamie Lee Curtis proved you can make a bold statement at any age as she put on a stunning display as mother-of-the-bride in a bold polka dot frock.

The Hollywood icon looked incredible in the full-length silk dress as she celebrated her daughter’s wedding at her house in California over the weekend.

Posing alongside her beautiful daughter Annie Guest, the 60-year-old actress looked incredible in the chic gown which featured a front leg split and cinched in at the waist with a chunky black belt.

She wore her short white locks in her signature cropped style and accessorised with towering black heels and a simple clutch.

Meanwhile, her 32-year-old daughter looked every inch the picture-perfect bride in an elegant white gown that fell gracefully to the floor and featured dramatic sleeves.

Posting a series of beautiful images from the memorable occasion, the proud mother wrote: “A spectacular celebration yesterday at our home for the marriage between our daughter Annie and Jason Wolf. A loving, familial blending with laughs and tears and truth.”

Meanwhile, the Halloween actress proved she is every bit the fashionista as she stepped out in a daring see-through top to attend the GLAAD Media Awards in Beverly Hills earlier this year.

Proving she’s still got it, Jamie wowed crowds in the eye-popping top, which featured a lace floral pattern, teamed with a pair of black high-waisted pants and matching black heels. The outfit allowed the star to show off her curves.

As always, the Freaky Friday star wore her hair in a stylish short crop for the event.
