When it comes to fashion, Celine Dion isn’t afraid to throw caution to the wind and try something new, particularly when she’s on stage, and the ‘My Heart Will Go On’ singer’s latest look certainly stole the show during her most recent concert over the weekend.
Taking to the stage in Boston, USA, the Canadian superstar looked ethereal in a stunning white ball gown which wouldn’t have looked out of place in a bridal couture magazine thanks to the enormous skirt.
Celine shared an image of herself wearing the show-stopping gown during her show at the TD Garden on Saturday night on social media – which was her final show of 2019 – as she thanked fans for coming out to see her despite the bitter North American winter weather.
“Wow! Last night was the final show of 2019. Thank you so much, Boston!” she wrote on Instagram. “Next stop, Jacksonville, Florida on January 8th, 2020….see you soon! – Celine xx”
Celine looked ethereal in the image which seemed to have been taken as she turned her back to the crowd, bringing her show to an end. The corseted gown showed off the mother-of-three’s figure perfectly as it nipped her in at the waist.
However it was the dress’ statement skirt that stole the show as Celine was engulfed by layers and layers of tulle ruffles which added a hint of drama to the almost bridal frock. Meanwhile Celine wore her lightened locks in a straight bob style that sat just above her shoulders.
Fans were bowled over by the star’s latest look with many praising the ‘All Coming Back to Me’ singer on social media. One fan wrote: “What a beautiful dress Celine.” Another commented: “You look stunning! This white dress wow ANGEL.”
While another joked: “I think this dress was inspired by the large amount of tissue paper people used after crying over your beautiful songs!”
The dress isn’t Celine’s first stage outfit to delight fans though as she previously stepped out in a gorgeous blue satin gown with a thigh-high split for her performance at this year’s Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade in New York City.
The singer’s dress loosely draped around her slender frame and belted at the waist. To make the most of the show-stopping frock, she kept her hair straight and simple and wore understated blue diamond earrings.
