Celine Dion is known for her dramatic vocals and dazzling outfits on stage, and she did not disappoint as she made an epic arrival to Australia for her Sydney show on Friday night – her first performance in the country in 10 years.

The 50-year-old songstress wowed in a fitted metallic gold suit and transparent white lace shirt, showing off her incredible figure at Sydney’s Qudos Bank Arena.

With her long hair loose over her shoulders, she looked stunning as she belted out some of her top hits to the screaming crowds.

The mother-of-three proved she’s got as much energy as her early days in the music industry as she danced across the stage and beamed with happiness throughout.

It’s her first tour since 2008, and she treated fans to a special cover of Aussie legend John Farnham’s classic You’re The Voice.

“Thank you John Farnham for your inspiration; that was so scary,” she said afterwards, according to the Daily Telegraph.

The singer appears to have fully recovered after she was forced to cancel shows in Las Vegas to undergo surgery on her ear a few months ago, following hearing problems.

Celine apologised to fans in an emotional statement at the time, and said the issue – called Patulous Eustachian tube – had begun to affect her singing. She’d been taking treatments for the problem for the past 18 months, but they stopped working, she said.

“My luck hasn’t been very good lately … I’ve been so looking forward to doing my shows again and this happens…. I just can’t believe it!” Celine said in a statement on her social media pages. “I apologise to everyone who planned to travel to Las Vegas to see my show. I know how disappointing this is, and I’m so sorry.”

Patulous Eustachian tube occurs when the Eustachian tube, which is normally closed, instead stays intermittently open.
