Gorgeous! Catherine Zeta-Jones turns up the glam in new cover shoot

Welsh actress Catherine Zeta-Jones has left fans speechless after she shared some sneak-peek snaps from her latest cover shoot with NewBeauty magazine. 

The 51-year-old sported four different looks for the glamorous photoshoot, with the first image showing the actress posing in a beautiful aqua-blue strapless gown. The dress wraps around her waist before falling gracefully to the floor, revealing a saucy thigh-high split. Catherine’s brunette hair is styled in soft, loose waves, adding a flair of effortlessness to the ensemble.

The second photo is a close-up pic of the mum-of-two posing up a storm, only this time in a blue-and-white striped shirt.

And for the third shot, Catherine opted for a business-chic look, donning a pair of black pants and a matching black vest with long lace sleeves.

The fourth and final image shows Catherine looking off into the distance as she poses in a traffic-stopping hot-pink, one-shoulder gown, which also features a thigh-high split.

“My @newbeauty cover issue hits stands today and I am so excited to hold it in my hands for the first time!” she captioned the post. “Thank you again to the incredible NewBeauty team for making it come to life … I am so honored [sic]!”

Fans were quick to comment on the glamorous shots, with one writing, “So beautiful! Love your clothing.” Another added, “You are brilliant.” While a third wrote, “Absolutely gorgeous.”

In the accompanying interview, Catherine opened up on her new beauty line Casa Zeta-Jones, and her mum Patricia, who she says inspired her love of make-up.

“My mother never took out the garbage without having make-up on!” she revealed. “She always was, and she still is, such a beautiful woman. She has aged so graciously, but she likes to dress up and feel good, which has always played a very positive part in projecting beauty onto me.

“She gave me a very healthy projection of beauty and how fun it is. Her message very much was, ‘It’s not essential, but if it makes you feel good, then do it’.”

Catherine’s cover shoot comes just a few days after she opened up about her 20-year-marriage with fellow actor Michael Douglas, 76, telling WSJ Magazine that the key to their happy marriage was constant love and respect and a sense of humour. The pair tied the knot in 2000 and share two children together, Dylan, 20, and Carys, 17.

“My husband is 25 years older than me; that’s not a secret,” she said. “With any relationship, it wouldn’t be normal if there weren’t any ups and downs. The constant is love and respect. We’ve never, ever lost our sense of humor [sic], and we enjoy each other’s company.”
