The Duchess of Cornwall looked ravishing in green as she cosied up to some adorable pooches at the opening of a special centre for dogs this week.

Keeping warm in the cold winter weather Camilla opted for a long green coat which she wore over the top of a polka-dotted brown and cream dress for the royal outing.

With her hair in its usual slightly waved style, the 71-year-old was all smiles for the visit to the Medical Detection Dogs new centre.

The charity, which the royal is a patron of, celebrated the opening of its new facility which will help a flurry of people throughout the region and their four-legged-friends.

Unlike the every day pooch, the dogs associated with the charity help to identify diseases such as cancer and malaria. At the centre, the furry friends are also trained to assist people with complex problems such as Type 1 diabetes, Addison’s disease and PoTS

While at the centre’s opening, Camilla enjoyed some time with a few of the talented dogs with one special pooch even showing her it’s impressive skills by grabbing a first aid kit.

“This is amazing. My daughter has PoTS and our two-year-old Maltipoo can detect before he heart is going to race. Dogs know so much they are amazing. Fabulous charity,” one person wrote on Instagram.

“A really good cause. The duchess is such a caring lady,” another commented.

While a third said: “Such important work. These dogs are incredible!”

It’s been a busy week for the duchess who was spotted at London Fashion Week on Tuesday.

Stepping out in stylish monochrome, Camilla sat front row during the Bethany Williams show, before taking to the stage to deliver a speech and presenting the young designer with the inaugural Queen Elizabeth II award for British Design.

Camilla handed the annual accolade to Williams, whose 100% sustainable collection was made using newspaper and recycled denim in collaboration with a women’s shelter in Liverpool, UK.

Prince Charles’ wife carried out the official duty on behalf of the Queen, however the monarch delivered her namesake award in person the year before.
