Daily Joke: An encounter with a thief

One night, as Tim was walking home, a thief suddenly attacked him.

Tim and the thief wrestled fiercely, rolling on the ground as Tim put up an incredible fight. Eventually, though, the thief managed to pin him down.

After searching through Tim’s pockets, the thief found only 25 cents. Shocked, he asked, “Why did you fight so hard for just 25 cents?”

Tim replied, “Oh! I thought you were after the five hundred dollars I’ve got in my shoe!”
