A man was driving down the highway when he noticed a rabbit hopping across the road. He quickly swerved to avoid it, but the rabbit suddenly jumped right in front of his car, and he couldn’t avoid hitting it. Heartbroken, the man, an animal lover, pulled over, got out of his car, and sadly discovered the rabbit was dead. Overcome with guilt, he began to cry.
As he stood by the roadside, a woman driving by saw him in distress and stopped. She got out and asked what was wrong.
“I feel terrible,” he said, “I accidentally hit this rabbit and killed it.”
The woman told him not to worry and said she had just the thing. She went to her car, pulled a spray can from the trunk, and sprayed the rabbit.
Miraculously, the rabbit came back to life, jumped up, waved at them, and hopped down the road. Fifty meters later, the rabbit stopped, turned, waved again, and continued hopping. It repeated this every fifty meters.
Amazed, the man turned to the woman. “What on earth is in that spray?” he asked.
The woman handed him the can, and he read the label: “Hairspray. Restores life to dead hair. Adds permanent wave.”
