At a medical convention an expert was delivering a speech on alcohol. To denounce the evils of alcohol he used two glasses as visual aids, one holding whiskey the second water.
He then put a live worm in each, the one in the water swam round quite happily but the second just shrivelled up and died.
He turned to the audience and asked the question “Well what does that tell you?”
Getting the unexpected answer “If you drink whiskey you won’t get worms.”
