Jane Fonda has set the hairstyle benchmark for the season, stepping away from the layered and over-fluffed shag which she has been famous for over the last decade, to show off a curved, sharp bob complete with a fringe. It’s finally a style anyone can emulate in everyday life, without looking like they just stepped out of a two hour salon appointment.
The look was showcased in an interview with Sirius Radio in the US, to promote the launch of Grace and Frankie, the Netflix TV series which launched season 3 this week. The series attacks ageism and the invisibility of the older generation in a humorous and entertaining style that only a cast of enormously successful over-60s can.
The look is a contrast to her normally soft curled layered chin length look that we have known her for for many years.

Fonda is now 79 years old and enjoying a high profile success with the series Grace and Frankie which is resonating with audiences internationally.
Grace and Frankie is a series that has been made together with stars Lily Tomlin, Sam Waterston and Martin Sheen. It premiered in 2015 and launched its 3rd series on the 23rd March to much fanfare.
