Sarah Ferguson, Duchess of York, has kicked off 2019 by sharing a stunning snap of her garden with her fans.
The 59-year-old took to Instagram on Wednesday with a photograph of herself standing in front of an array of brightly-coloured flowers. A beautiful arrangement of gorgeous orange, yellow and red flowers could be seen in the snap, as well as some other lush green plants.
The mother-of-two posed in a casual yellow shirt and black skirt combo and wore her luscious red locks down for the photograph.

“Happy New Year 2019,” she told her 164,000 Instagram followers. “Look forward with colour and courage. Thank you all for such a year of kindness in 2018.”
She’s not the only celebrity who has a green thumb. Star of The Project Lisa Wilkinson recently showed off some beautiful Pierre de Ronsard flowers she grew in her very own garden. Pierre de Ronsard, also known as Rosa ‘Eden’, is a pink and white climbing rose.
It’s popular with gardeners around Australia for its fragrant scent and luscious blooms that flower in abundance every year.
“Proud mama. Straight from the garden. Took me ten years of trial and error, but those babies are now blooming every year… Happy first day of summer!” she wrote on Instagram.

Meanwhile, acting legend Dame Judi Dench was spotted at the RHS Garden Wisley Flower Show in the United Kingdom last year. The 84-year-old was photographed holding a gorgeous bouquet of flowers and was even spotted walking a red carpet made entirely of red flowers.
A keen gardener herself, Judi wasn’t afraid to get her hands dirty and was also spotted getting involved in some gardening during the festivities.
Plants and nature have always played a huge role in Judi’s life and she had the very special task of opening the annual flower show.
As for Sarah, she’s also revealed some of the big plans and goals she wants to achieve this year. She took to her social media pages earlier this week with a previously unseen photograph of herself from a few years back. In that photograph, a young Fergie could be seen beaming at the camera from the inside of a helicopter.
