Raquel Welch shows off her age defying figure

Raquel Welch hit the red carpet on Wednesday in Hollywood for the premiere of her latest film How To Be A Latin Lover.

Wearing a dazzling yellow jacket with black pants, she looked nothing like what you would expect for someone aged 76. Yes, the former Playboy cover girl shows she can still be every part the sex symbol.

Welch has always insisted yoga, weight training, healthy eating and her make-up regime is how she kept in shape. Just two years ago she said her secret to ageing was a low-carb gluten-free diet and daily yoga workouts, but added health and well-being was more important than a body beautiful. She has always denied having cosmetic surgery, but Celebrity Health and Fitness said her beauty secrets included Botox injections and anti-wrinkle face creams. More recently she told Inquirer that maintaining your physical self is a big job. “You have to be very disciplined to do it,” Raquel Welch said. “For most people, it’s not pivotal to what they do in life, so they aren’t going to be training five days a week. But for me, it’s part of my stock and trade, so I do try to keep fit. My diet is very strict. Of course, I go off it, pig out and have all kinds of things that I’m not supposed to have. But then, you have to go on the wagon again. But that’s a dilemma for most women.” She added that supplement also helped her. “You need somebody to prescribe supplements for your joints and all the systems in your body. These nutrients do help enormously.”

Last year Raquel was voted number one bikini body of all time in a study by Swimwear365, beating Ursula Andress from Dr No and Pamela Anderson who also featured in the top 10.

Raquel features in the movie How to Be a Latin Lover, with 53-year-old Rob Lowe, Salma Hayak and Kirsten Bell. The description of the movie is: Having made a career of seducing rich older women, Maximo marries a wealthy woman more than twice his age. 25 years later, spoiled and bored from waking up next to his now 80-year-old wife—he gets the surprise of his life when she ends up dumping him for a younger car salesman. Forced out of his mansion and desperate for a place to stay, he must move in with his estranged sister.
