I still have my Neighbours wedding collection on VHS. Can’t wait to see Scott and Charlene together again on our screen. Great memories as a teenager ????

Can we take a minute to shed an emotional tear for the return of @kylieminogue @JDonOfficial back on @neighbours and just think, “Where did the last 33 years go?”. If only we can pause, rewind, play!!! Yet in true Neighbours style they really have paused, rewind and play!!! ????

Neighbours, which first aired in 1985, follows the lives of a community living in the fictional Melbourne suburb of Erinsborough, shot its final scene early in June.
The show ceased its production after failing to secure new funding since being dropped by its broadcaster earlier this year.
Neighbours executive producer Jason Herbison admitted he did feel the weight of responsibility to craft an ending worthy of such an important part of Australian television.
“Firstly, it’s about wrapping up the storylines and the characters in a satisfying way,” he said.
“And second, it’s what else we might do to make it feel like a worthy ending for a show that’s been going for 37 years.”
However, Herbison has promised that the show’s ending will be “very warm, very celebratory.”
“I’m just going to say it’s very Neighbours, the end,” says Herbison. “We are a show that has at times gotten away with things that maybe other shows haven’t.
“I did think, ‘What little thing could we do at the end that that might be memorable and in keeping with some of the slightly silly things we’ve done over the years’. That’s the way to put it.”
Other casts returning for the finale include Chris Milligan, who played Kyle Canning, Morgan Baker as Callum Rebecchi, Natalie Bassingthwaighte, who played Izzy Hoyland, and James Mason as Chris Pappas.
