Pippa Middleton channels mum Carole’s look in white summer dress at Wimbledon

If imitation is the best form of flattery, Carole Middleton must be feeling pretty good about herself right now.

While some daughters wouldn’t be caught dead in an outfit similar to their mother’s, Pippa Middleton channeled her mum’s fashion on Thursday as she stepped out in a beautiful white sundress on day four of Wimbledon.

The mother-to-be, who showed off her growing baby bump, was glowing in the white lace Anna Mason number with ruffle sleeves, which looked strikingly similar to her mum Carole Middleton’s outfit worn earlier in the week.

Looking very natural and tanned, the 34-year-old paired the outfit with large Chanel sunglasses, gold hoop earrings and blue wedges.

Throughout the day she also opted for a Jess Collett hand woven panama trilby hat with blue pom poms featured on the side, to shade her from the warm summer weather.

The beautiful expectant mother married her millionaire financier husband James Matthews in May of last year with the pair earlier this year announcing their pregnancy.

While her husband did not make an appearance at Wimbledon, Pippa attended what is known to be a family favourite event with 31-year-old brother James Middleton, who looked dapper in white pants, a double-breasted blue blazer, white shirt and a blue tie.

It seems the whole family is quite fashion forward with mum Carole, sharing a similar taste in style to Pippa, stepping out in a youthful summer dress in the Royal Box this week.

The pair aren’t the only mother and daughter team to channel similar styles with actress Demi Moore and daughter Rumer Willis seen regularly stepping out looking much more like sisters.

A few years ago Rumer shared a photo on Twitter of the two wearing matching jumpsuits and holding a similar pose, showing off their striking resemblance.

Since then the pair have not shied away from showing off their matching or very similar choice of outfits, with black and white common colours in their wardrobe.
