Little House on the Prairie-goes-bondage! Nicole Kidman shows off edgy style

Nicole Kidman shone out and stole the show at Comic-Con over the weekend, combining an elegant style reminiscent of outfits seen on Little House on the Prairie with a hint of racy bondage.

The 51-year-old actress looked incredible in the floor-length white and black layered button-up dress, while showing off her waistline with a tight black statement belt round the middle.

The cotton tulle-embroidered dress was fresh from Christian Dior’s Cruise 2019 collection, and the award-winning actress showed it off perfectly with transparent sleeves and a ruffled bottom to show off her figure.

Wearing her hair tied back in a loose up-do, Nicole kept the rest of her look fairly simple and just added some bright pink lippy to finish it off.

Towering in red gem heels, she posed for photos outside with a beaming grin, before joining her Aquaman co-stars on stage and laughing throughout.

However, the movie didn’t come easily, as the actress admitted she had to endure some brutal scenes very early on during filming. Speaking to The Fix, she admitted she had to deal with the force of massive waves crashing over her in one of the very first scenes.

“I had these massive waves crashing over me. I’m thinking, ‘the bigger, the better! Come on, James. Give it to me. That’s why I’m doing this movie’,” she told the digital outlet.

Director and Australian filmmaker James Wan added that it was like she was being “being pelted with rocks”, and added: “Nicole was a trooper, because really, we were pummelling her with this massive water tank that shoots rainstorms, just coming down on her. When you get hit with those, it’s like being pelted with rocks.”

Meanwhile, sharing her excitement on social media, Nicole added a close-up selfie showing off her flawless complexion and wrote: “Loving it here at @comic_con thank you to all of the fans for the love and the warmth. #SDCC #aquaman.”
