Looking sexy at 80 years old is no easy feat, but award-winning actress Jane Fonda has proved it’s possible as she stepped out in a jaw-dropping outfit at a major environmental event at the weekend.
The stunning Book Club star looked the Hollywood legend as she posed for photos at the first annual Environmental Media Association Honours Benefit Gala on Saturday night in a perfectly fitted black, sparkly suit.
Paired with black heels and a black clutch, the blonde beauty shone, her bob haircut sitting elegantly around her face with silver earrings adding to the sparkly theme.
The outfit was the perfect fit for the evening gala, which saw the talented actress receive the Female EMA Lifetime Achievement Award for her dedication to environmental work.
Adding to her collection of awards, Jane is also set to receive this year’s Lumière Award at the 10th Lumière Festival in Lyon, France in October.
In honour of the dedicated activist, documentary Jane Fonda in Five Acts will be screened throughout the festival, paying special attention to her father Henry Fonda.
Taking on many big roles over her years, Jane has become an icon to women across the world, keeping up her fitness and healthy living while taking on a heavy workload.
However, the two-time Academy Award winner recently admitted to The Independent that she doesn’t fancy the modern romance scenes seen in movies these days.
“Every time I see a love scene with young ones – they come at each other like this (mimes a wide-mouth kiss) and I’m thinking, ‘well where does the fun come in?’ Because the fun is the sensuality of lips. And then slowly moving beyond that. But not trying to swallow each other,” she said.
“I would not want to go right into a tongue kiss, quite frankly.”
The blonde bombshell’s latest film The Book Club, where she stars alongside Diane Keaton is due for release later this year.
