She may have just turned 64, but Christie Brinkley still knows how to party like a teenager. The Sports Illustrated veteran celebrated her birthday on Monday with a star-studded bash in New York, and dolled out some sage advice to guests about living life to the full.
In a video posted on her Instagram page, Brinkley was seen jumping onto a couch and telling guests the best advice her mother gave her on ageing: “So, and just one word of advice, 64 comes before you know it so live each day as though it’s your last!”
Brinkley looked fantastic in a shimmering blue jumpsuit by designer Stella McCartney. The fabric had a luxurious metallic sheen and was tied at the waist to create a stunning silhouette. Brinkley paired the jumpsuit with red velvet pumps and sparkling earrings.

The birthday bash was held in New York City and was attended by her three children, Alexa Joel — her daughter with singer Billy Joel, Jack Brinkley-Cook and Sailor Brinkley-Cook. She also invited her famous neighbours, Neil De Grasse Tyson and his wife Alice and many other NYC elites.
She looked to be having a ball throughout the evening, and shared a photo with her three children, saying they “keep me young at heart”.

Brinkley recently revealed in an interview with Porter magazine that she once turned down the advances of President Donald Trump when he was married to ex-wife Ivana Trump.
She told the magazine that Trump called her at the Plaza Hotel in New York and asked if she would like to take a trip on his private jet. At first, she says she thought it was her then boyfriend Billy Joel pranking her.
Brinkley says Trump offered her a flight because they were both leaving to go to Aspen. The Sports Illustrated model politely declined and mentioned she had already booked her flights. Brinkley told Porter, “I knew he was married, and there he was asking me to go on his plane. He was kind of flirty about it. He was out chasing skirts.”
