88-year-old’s amazing singing warms hearts on social media

If your mother ever sung to you when you were child, or even in your adult years, then you’re about to get some nostalgia from this amazing 88-year-old.

An 88-year-old woman with Alzheimer’s has become an internet sensation, after her son posted videos of their musical duet on Facebook.

Kelly Ridings shared the video of he and his mother singing on Facebook last week, and already they’ve been watched by millions of people across the world.

“Mom is 88 now. She’s in assisted living and has Alzheimer’s but she can still play and sing better than anyone in my eyes.” he wrote.

“I realised while I was singing with her tonight, I had never videoed us singing together, so I captured a couple of songs for posterity. Most days I miss her, but she always comes back to me when we sing.”

They’re heartwarming rendition of the song Dreaming of a Little Cabin has moved many on social media to tears, and made many people reflect on their own mothers.
