Richard Wilkins shares unseen photo from Karl Stefanovic’s wedding

It was one of the most talked about weddings of the year and Channel 9 star Richard Wilkins has shared an unseen photograph from Karl Stefanovic and Jasmine Yarbrough’s glamorous Mexican wedding.

The 64-year-old took to his Instagram page on Tuesday evening, thanking his Today show co-star and new bride for inviting him to their nuptials.

“What an amazing weekend!” he said. “Congratulations you two crazy kids… thanks for having us along. Lots of love.”

The New Zealand-born star also included the hashtag #letsgetfizzykarl, which other guests had used across social media in congratulating Karl and Jasmine.

In the photo, Richard can be seen posing alongside both Karl and Jasmine, as well as his partner Virginia Burmeister, Today journalist Sylvia Jeffreys and his son, Christian.

Christian also shared the same photo to his Instagram page.

“Love you guys sooooo much,” he captioned the happy snap.

Karl married Jasmine over the weekend at a Mexican beach resort in front of 200 guests. The couple said “I do” at the top of the stairs of the One Only Palmilla Resort chapel in San Jose del Cabo on Saturday afternoon. The Today host’s sister Elisa married the newlyweds after his mum Jenny walked him down the aisle.

Jasmine wore a custom above-the-knee gown which featured a long train by Australian designer Jessica Andreatta. The mini dress featured soft blush tulle, and patterned beading over the lace. She wore her blonde locks in a low elegant bun — attached to which was a long lace veil. Meanwhile, Karl looked dapper in a white Tom Ford suit paired with R.M. Williams boots.

The bridesmaids wore black Rachel Gilbert dresses and the groomsmen wore black suits with R.M. Williams boots as well.

Jasmine’s sister, Jade, and Mara & Mine business partner Tamie Ingham were in the bridal party, along with five of her friends from school. On Karl’s side was motor racing legend Mick Doohan, businessman Ben Tilley and his brothers Peter and Tom, and friends Steve Marshall and Alan Regina.

Guests flooded social media with snaps of the glitzy wedding, including one which showed a stunning fairy lights display at the wedding reception.

It was a truly star-studded event, with former Foreign Minister Julie Bishop also photographed at the event. Other celebrity guests included Karl’s brother Peter Stefanovic, Nova radio host Tim Blackwell and many of Jasmine’s fashion blogger friends.
