Melania Trump certainly isn’t shy when it comes to her outfit choices and her latest ensemble is no different as she stepped out in a pair of gold figure-hugging trousers this week.

The First Lady looked incredibly fashionable in the tightly fit pants which she paired with a dark green jacket on her return from Iraq with husband US President Donald Trump.

Opting for gold wedges to complete the outfit, the 48-year-old strolled hand-in-hand across the South Lawn at the White House after stepping off Marine One following a surprise trip to Al Asad Air Base.

Melania’s bold outfit choice turned some heads with many claiming at first look it appeared the mother-of-one wasn’t wearing any pants at all.

Melania stepped out in a pair of skin coloured tights and a green jacket following a visit to Iraq.

Taking to Twitter to express their confusion social media users said they had to do a double take as the trousers matched so closely with the colour of her skin.

“It looked like Melania was pantless, until you see the wrinkles in the fabric, as she walked down the stairs,” someone wrote.

“At first I didn’t think Melania was wearing pants when she deplaned, took a couple of looks,” a second said.

Others had a far different view saying they loved her look.

“Love the green jacket and gold pants you wore on the flight! You rock fashion!” one person commented.

While another added: “She looks gorgeous! Most beautiful First Lady in history!”

Melania’s outfit was a far cry from what she wore while visiting the hard-working troops in Iraq over the festive season in which she sported a pair of black pants and a yellow jacket.

The First Lady took to Twitter throughout the week to share her admiration for the people who are serving the country during her visit.

“The men and women who serve in our nation’s military give up so much so that we can be free. @potus and I were honored to surprise deployed troops at Al Asad Air Base in Iraq,” she wrote alongside a series of photos with American troops.

The Trumps also stopped over at Germany where they met with other members of the US military to wish them a Merry Christmas.

“Loved meeting with members of our military at @RamsteinAirBase in Germany. Keep up the great work and thank you for all you are doing! Your country is proud of you,” Melania posted on Twitter.

The couple were praised for their support of the troop by many on social media.
