Beautiful Kate and Meghan steal the show at Commonwealth Day service

Meghan and Catherine wowed in red and white on Monday as they joined other members of the royal family for the annual celebration of the Commonwealth of Nations.

The two duchesses looked absolutely gorgeous as they entered Westminster Abbey in London for a Commonwealth Day service.

This year’s event, which was also attended by the Queen, Prince Charles and Camilla, played a special significance across the world as it marked the 70th anniversary of the modern Commonwealth.

Meghan absolutely glowed in a white patterned frock, complete with a cosy white coat and hat for the afternoon outing. The soon-to-be mum kept her look simple, yet elegant with a pair of black heels and a black clutch.

Meanwhile, her husband Prince Harry opted for a navy suit and light pink tie as he walked hand-in-hand with his wife.

The Duchess of Cambridge chose a more vibrant outfit for the service, sporting a long red coat with buttons down the front and a red hat to match. Catherine looked equally as stunning as Meghan, standing tall in nude heels and a nude clutch, while she kept her hair pulled back into a low bun.

The mother-of-three joined husband Prince William on Monday afternoon. Like his brother the young royal also opted for a dark coloured suit and tie for the formal occasion.

The theme of this year’s service was “A Connected Commonwealth” which highlighted the special connection between people across the world and the collective values shared .

People from all 53 nations of the commonwealth sat together inside the church for the service where they enjoyed performances from musicians and listened to speakers from across the globe.

The Queen, who delivered a powerful message guests, also looked beautiful at the event in a bright purple outfit. Her Majesty opted for a long coat for the chilly day, which she paired with a simple purple hat and black gloves.

The royal matched her outfit with a red lip, while she kept her jewellery to a minimum with a pair of gorgeous pearl earrings and a pearl necklace.
