Trump slammed for vile comments about female reporter

Trump is well known for his Twitter tirades.

Donald Trump has proved that he is the master of all multitaskers by taking a quick break from tweeting about politics to belittle a female TV host for her appearance.

On air since 2007, Morning Joe is a weekday morning talk show that discusses politics – something Trump seems fine with, unless he becomes part of the conversation.

After reportedly being told that the Morning Joe hosts were talking badly about him on the show, Trump took to his favourite social media platform for some trash talk of his own.

In two quick tweets, Trump called Joe Scarborough “psycho”, and referred to the female host, Mika Brzezinski, as “low I.Q. Crazy Mika”.

Trump says the hosts ventured to the Mar-a-Lago estate in Palm Beach, Florida three nights in a row around the time of New Year’s Eve.

“[They] insisted on joining me. She was bleeding badly from a face-lift. I said no!”

Had Trump simply mentioned the hosts wanting to spend time with him, the incident would probably have been brushed off quickly.

The fact that he specifically called into question Brzezinski’s intelligence and used her alleged bleeding face as a reason for being unworthy of his company means the story is quickly snowballing in the media.

This isn’t the first time things have gotten personal between Trump and the Morning Joe hosts. During the early days of his presidential campaign, Trump appeared on the show regularly and seemed to be on relatively good terms with Scarborough and Brzezinski.

An unflattering op-ed piece and a few Twitter blasts later, the relationship has obviously soured.

The first lady, herself an anti-cyberbullying advocate, came to her husband’s aid through spokeswoman, Stephanie Grisham.

“When her husband gets attacked, he will punch back 10 times harder,” Grisham says.
